Terms and Conditions

👋 Welcome to oio school! By enrolling in this workshop, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions detailed below. Please read carefully.

Workshop Details and Participation

  1. The workshop runs for one week, from Sunday, July 13th, to Saturday, July 19th, approximately from 9:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday.

  2. The location for the workshop—and the accommodation for Regular and Premium ticket holders—is a grand mansion in Zollino, Puglia, near Lecce. The villa, built in the early 1900s, features a swimming pool and spacious workshop areas. The exact location will be shared once the workshop is confirmed.

  3. Regular ticket holders will share a room inside the mansion. Rooms accommodate a maximum of three people and can be arranged on request.

  4. The capacity is limited to a maximum of 15 participants.

  5. Participation is voluntary, but participants must follow the workshop schedule, guidelines, and instructions provided by the instructors.

  6. Payment, Refund, and Cancellation Policy

    1. Payment: A fee is required upon registration to secure your spot.
    2. Workshop Activation: The workshop will only proceed if a minimum number of participants is met by June 7th. If canceled, participants will receive a full refund. oio will not cover any transportation (flights, trains, cars) or external accommodation bookings. Participants are responsible for checking the cancellation policies of third-party services they book prior to the activation date.
    3. Cancellation Policy:
      1. Cancellations made before June 7th will receive a 95% refund (5% administrative fee).
      2. Cancellations made up to July 1st will receive a 50% refund.
      3. Cancellations made after July 1st at 23:59 will not be refunded.

  7. Ticket Transfers:

    1. Tickets are fully transferable to another participant until July 7th at 23:59.
    2. This means you may transfer your ticket to anyone else, provided they meet any requirements for participation and agree to these terms and conditions.
    3. To initiate a transfer, contact [email protected] with the full name, email address, and contact information of the new participant.
    4. The new participant will assume full responsibility for the ticket and workshop participation.

  8. What's Included?

    1. Training and tutoring (7 hours daily for 5 days, Monday to Friday).
    2. Accommodation for Regular and Premium ticket holders.
    3. Breakfast and one meal each day (excluding alcohol), for Regular and Premium ticket holders. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.

  9. Conduct and Safety

    1. Participants are expected to maintain a respectful attitude toward others. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior will result in immediate dismissal without a refund.
    2. Safety guidelines must be followed, especially during hands-on activities or field trips.

  10. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

    1. All workshop projects and materials are the property of their respective creators. Participants are free to reproduce and distribute their work as they please.
    2. Personal information shared by participants will remain confidential.

  11. Liability

    1. oio will not be held liable for any loss, damage, injury, or inconvenience experienced by participants. Participants must have their own health insurance and inform the organizers of any relevant medical needs.

  12. Photo, Video, and Media Release

    1. During the workshop, we will be taking photographs, videos, and audio recordings to document the experience.
    2. By participating, you grant oio permission to use these materials for promotional purposes, including but not limited to our website, social media channels, press materials, and future communications.
    3. If you do not wish to appear in any media, please inform the organizers before the workshop begins. We will do our best to accommodate your request.

  13. Language and Preparation

    1. Language: The workshop will be conducted in English.
    2. What should I bring? A laptop, comfortable clothing for warm weather.

  14. Data Policy

    1. What We Collect We collect personal information necessary for workshop administration, including your name, email address, contact details, dietary restrictions, medical information (if provided), and any other relevant data needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
    2. Why We Collect It This data is used solely for:
      1. Managing your participation in the workshop.
      2. Accommodating dietary or medical needs.
      3. Communicating important workshop updates.
      4. Fulfilling legal obligations (if any).
    3. How We Store It Your data is stored securely, with access limited to oio school organizers and, where necessary, trusted partners (e.g., facilitators or catering providers) who require the information to support the event.
    4. How Long We Retain It We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined above.
    5. Your Rights You have the right to:
      1. Request access to your personal data.
      2. Request correction of any inaccuracies.
      3. Request deletion of your data (where applicable).

    6. Third Parties We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is shared only with service providers (such as facilitators or caterers) strictly for the purposes of running the workshop, and they are required to handle your data securely and in accordance with data protection laws.
    7. Legal Basis We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable Spanish and UK data protection laws.

  15. Governing Law

    1. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Spain.
